How long should you wait for a second date?
It’s not that easy to answer this question. But as a man who has (hopefully) read my book, you have the power to go on many first dates. You’re able to approach women, to get their phone numbers, and to ask them out.
You have this power.
If you’re not quite there yet, you have to be patient and continue to take action. Just don’t give up. Giving up is never an option. I know you can do it. I know you can get more first dates than Finch with Stifler’s mom in American Pie.
I tortured you enough with my rant about why you can get many first dates with many beautiful girls. Let’s focus on what happens afterwards.
God, that’s so romantic that I want to cry tears of joy. But now your first date is over. You survived it and you tasted her sweet lips (not the ones between her legs). You’re ready for the next step but you have no clue how long to wait for a second date.
Heck, you don’t even know when to ask her.
Let me tell you what I would do if I were you and what I’ve done a couple of days ago…
How Long to Wait for a Second Date (My Experience)
Let me start by telling you what I did in the past.
My past decisions are a great example of what not to do. It makes me cringe to even think about the stupid things I’ve done. Oh God, I was so impatient. I mean, I still have patience level zero but back then it was even worse. I wasn’t just impatient.
I was impatient and insecure.
My insecurity made it impossible to leave time between the first and second date. I just couldn’t do it. Usually, I asked the girl at the beginning of the first date if she wants to see me again. That’s the dumbest thing you can possibly do.
Holy Mother of God…I didn’t even wait until the end of the first date.
The question is:
Would that have been better?
Let me tell you when to ask for a second date and why popping the question on the first one doesn’t have to end with tears in your eyes…
1. When Should You Ask for a Second Date?
So…when to ask for a second date?
Well, it depends.
Yeah, I know. That’s not the answer you were hoping to get. You want to know the exact minute, second, and millisecond. Sorry, I can’t tell you to ask her twenty minutes after she took the first sip of her coffee. I wish I could. But that’s not how it works.
I can only tell you what I usually do.
But I have to warn you. It’s not what the dating gurus recommend. In fact, it’s the opposite. I’m sure you’ve heard of the three day rule. It’s that stupid rule that’s responsible for more messed up dates than anything else.
“You have to wait three days until you call her and set up the date!”
No, you don’t.
This rule is absolutely ridiculous. And it gets even more ridiculous when you play the same game on the second date again. She’ll be sick and tired after the second day of waiting. Only insecure men follow this rule.
Here are the three options I choose:
Call me crazy, call me retarded...I NEVER wait more than two days to set up the next date. It goes against the “pretend to be busy” rule, but it works. It works because I use the momentum. One day after the first date she’s still in “it was so romantic” mood.
That’s the perfect time to strike back.
If you wait too long, she’ll forget the great time you had and she might even forget about you.
2. Is it Ever too Soon to Ask for a Second Date?
I hate to say it, but “yes”. It can be too early.
Imagine you’re on a date with Samantha. She’s a hard nut to crack. This girl is more introverted than a monk and shier than a mouse in the house of a cat lady. Finally, after two hours she opens up. After four hours she’s talkative and she can’t stop smiling.
It would have been too early to ask Samantha after two hours.
Now imagine you’re on a date with Tamara. She’s extremely talkative. She likes you, trusts you, and opens up. After talking to her for two hours she says the following words: “I really love talking to you.” Her bright smile makes you smile.
Would it be too soon to ask her for a second date?
It’s a totally different situation. With Samantha it would have been too early. Tamara, on the other hand, gives you a green light. You could simply say “I also enjoy talking to you. I’m looking forward to seeing you again next week.”
Here’s how soon to ask for a second date:
The way she feels about you reveals the perfect time to ask her.
3. How Long Should You Wait Between the First and Second Date?
That’s another good question.
You see, today I only ask good questions. Usually, I talk a lot of bullshit. So that’s a big improvement for me. But seriously, I used to mess this one up too. I used to wait way too long and an inner voice tells me that you fell into the same trap.
Allow me to answer the following questions:
The answer to the first question depends on your and her schedule. You’re a Global Seducer. You’re busy living an amazing life, traveling the world, and banging chicks. Heck, you might even have a job. You don’t have time the next day.
But what if you have time?
These two words already answer the second question. No, it’s never too soon for a second date. You wouldn’t be the first guy who has a first date on Saturday and the second date on Sunday. I’ve done it to and I’d do it again.
Heck, I’ve done it with the girl I’m dating right now.
I approached her on a Tuesday. I asked her out on a Wednesday. We had our first date on Saturday. And at the end of this (really amazing) day, I asked her if she’s free on Sunday. She said “yes” and we met again on Sunday. Life can be so easy.
Is it ever too late?
Remember, beautiful women are busy. And the Global Seducer community is growing every day. You’re not the only guy who has read my book. Your competition is waiting to approach her and to take her on a date. You better act fast.
It’s better to have a fast second date than to wait too long.
4. I Sex on the Second Date Good or Bad?
I love sex on the first date.
Honestly, who doesn’t?
I know who doesn’t. Insecure men with Madonna Wore Complex don’t want it to happen. In their narrow-minded world, she’s a slut when she spreads her legs on the second date. What about sex on the first date? God forbid! These women are the worst!
Do you really believe that?
Then I’m sorry for you.
I already told you about the three date rule. Yep, I’m talking about this stupid rule that you should wait three days until you set up a date. Shock horror…there’s another popular dating rule with the number three. And yes, it’s as stupid as the one I already mentioned.
“You have to wait until the third date!”
Now it’s okay to have sex. The second date is too early but the third date is perfect. That doesn’t make any freaking sense! The shocking truth is that both men and women believe in this crap. Women are afraid to be sluts and men are stupid enough to judge them.
Just think about it.
You’re judging a girl who you want to sleep with you for sleeping with you. That’s as if parents would judge their children for liking them. They want their children to like them. You want to sleep with her. Be happy when it happens, for God’s sake.
Be happy that she wants to sleep with you.
She’s a confident woman who doesn’t allow arbitrary rules to dictate her life. Sleeping with you because she likes you is more important to her than social conditioning. That’s the kind of girl you want to date. Please don’t judge her for what you secretly want.
So yeah, sex on the second date is good and not bad.
Sex on the first date is even better and here’s a step-by-step guide to make it happen.
Summed Up Wisdom
As a seducer, you want to know how long to wait for a second date. And you also want to know when to ask for it. I mean, you’ll go on many dates and you want to be prepared. The first thing you have to understand is that there is no perfect time. It depends on the woman and on the situation.
Sometimes you connect with a girl after an hour. Sometimes you need more time. As soon as you have the feeling that she’s into you, you can ask her for a second date. It’s only too early if you don’t have a connection with her. Give her the time she needs to want the second date.
How long should you wait between the first and second date? Well, I don’t buy what the dating gurus are selling. I don’t believe that waiting longer increases you value or makes you the prize…whatever the heck that means. In my experience, fast second dates are better. What about sex on the second date? Don’t judge her for something you want her to do.
